The art, science and philosophy of chiropractic taken from a Christian perspective focusing on the physical (science), the emotional (philosophy) and the spiritual (art) aspects of being a human.
Our reliance on drugs has replaced our body’s ability to heal itself as God designed it to do. Your spinal system is what keeps your entire body functioning properly. Damage can occur to the spinal column, nerves and organs interfering with your body’s ability to heal itself. When your spine is properly aligned your body’s ability to send and receive messages to the brain is greatly improved. This provides better ability to heal itself when a problem is detected.

where she was also a member of the award winning Cavalettes Dance Team for three
years. Dr. Ashleigh attended the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) and received her
B.S. Degree in Food and Nutrition in 2013. She was an ACE Certified Personal Trainer
for over a year and started her own nutrition counseling business. It wasn’t long after
graduating from her undergraduate studies when Dr. Ashleigh felt the tug at her heart to
become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Following her father’s footsteps, Dr. Ashleigh
graduated Life University in Atlanta, GA in September 2017. She is now honored to be
serving the North Jefferson Area alongside her father and other colleagues. In her spare
time, Dr. Ashleigh enjoys working out and spending time with her husband, Alex, who is the owner of Thrive Fitness in Gardendale. They also enjoy spending time with their two dogs.
Dr. Ashleigh is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
She is certified in the ICPA’s Webster Technique which is a specific chiropractic
analysis and adjustment. The goal of this specific adjustment is to reduce the effects of
pelvic imbalance. In pregnancy, pelvic imbalance may affect the mother’s comfort and
the baby’s imbalance. During birth, pelvic imbalance can affect labor progression,
leading to unnecessary intervention. Pelvic imbalance adversely affects uterine nerve
function, the structure of the pelvis, and may hinder a baby’s ability to gain optimal
positioning. These are the very causes of dystocia or difficult, stalled labor. The Webster
Technique helps achieve a state of balance in the pelvis that may contribute to a safer,
easier birth outcome. Education and Credentials:
- B.S. of Science with a focus in Food and Nutrition, The University of Alabama, 2013
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.), Life University (Marietta, GA), 2017
- Webster Certified, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association
